1) The h1 looks a bit broken with the partially overlaid/animated gradient
2) Depending on the state of the animated background colour, the primary navigation links lack contrast

But specifically in this case it's very laggy on my cutting edge browser on my Macbook Pro.

God knows how this works for someone on a mid-range device. Battery drain, yep. Murdering your data plan, yep.

5) When you scroll down the page way after it's loaded, it's really laggy and the page seems to re-render. I dunno.
6) The sign in link has terrible contrast too
