definitely one of my favorite bts songs (: it’s so comforting and lovely and special to me. i can feel love radiating from every beat of this song: love for myself and love for life.
trivia 承: love is especially meaningful (to me, to fans, to bts, to namjoon) because it’s namjoon’s way of sharing his journey of self-love with the world.
his previous solo track, reflection, very openly communicates his personal doubts/anxieties. the line “i wish i could love myself” resonates within the listener even after the song is over. reflection is heart-breaking, but shows an undeniable strength in the most intimate way.
side note: reflection shouldn’t be taken as a cry for help/a startingly reveal of namjoon’s deep-rooted pain and hopelessness. no. don’t take the song out of context.

the story of reflection had to be told so that we (but i think especially namjoon) could truly understand the beautiful revelations told in trivia 承: love. the song... it is love! love in the most meaningful way. it is full of joy and warmth and color. happiness. love!!!
