"Up until 2016 I’ve been an independent for all long time & never really bothered to vote as I knew each politician was equally worthless in my book. However my eyes were opened in 2014 during Obama’s presidency. I can honestly thank obama for four things:

1) helping me realize the importance of having a second amendment 2) exercising that right 3) realizing elections have consequences 4) not voting also has consequences. Because of our disagreement with the popular narrative the media loves to spin, I’ve been falsely accused 2/x

of being a racist many times, always felt the need to bring up my wife and daughter as it is an actual racists favorite thing to do. My wife while living in Jamaica believed the lie the media told as CNN was the only news broadcast out there on the island as well as how 3/x

leftists treated her with kid gloves when they visited the island, I encouraged her one day to do her own research and not take my word for it. In 2015 her eyes were also opened & now a permanent resident here in the US for almost 2 years, has declared Trump her president. 4/x
