I love this reworking of the new belt and the PS job has actually highlighted what isn't quite working for me and why I'm having trouble deciding if I do or don't like it.

This is a thread about graphic design and laziness. https://twitter.com/ejmaroun/status/1280894475057991680
I'm lazy as shit and I don't like reading.

When I look at this title belt I know without having to read that this is the WWE champion.
This beauty is Regal as fuck and has the British coat of arms on it. It's being carried by a woman so, without reading, I know that this is the UK Women's belt.
This has two helmets on it. Must be the tag belt!
This is one of the worst looking belts ever and looking at it, with minimal effort, I understand everything about it.
I like the shape of this. I like the concept, half WWE parallelogram, half classic WCW US title. Why isn't it working for me?
My eye is getting drawn entirely to the word "champion."

The eagle, generally seen perched atop a logo, is cramped down into the bottom. The symbol of liberty and freedom is in a box held closed by the Champion Champion.
By moving the word "champion" down and raising the eagle up, the eagle and by extension the flag become the focal point. The symbolism and visual elements are all dead center and everything looks way more balanced.
