A terrifying day where I realised I can apply for a consultant job in February.

Which got me to thinking:

Consultants, what do you wish you knew in your last year of training that would've helped you transition?
Reminiscing - really doesn't seem that long ago since I joined Twitter as a final year med student in 2010, meeting up with some twitter legends in London, talking #teddybearclub and looking forward to my first job

WHERE DOES THE TIME GO I HAVE SO MANY WHITE HAIRS NOW!
So many fascinating responses in this thread, keep them coming! Will make into a blog post for others to read, like a #TipsForCCT in the style of #TipsForNewDocs?
Also, I have to say this is one of the really positive sides of #MedTwitter - it's nice to see shared learning without negativity and all the weird stuff that goes on normally...
So as promised, I created a #TipsForCCT post by amalgamating all the good advice you guys gave to me... special shout out for @thefourthcraw for the biggest gem!
