Using the wrath of God as a way to evangelise is completely wrong and ineffective. Any parent that uses fear as a means to force their kids to obey and love them would be seen as abusive and manipulative right?But why do we try and degrade God to that level in order to win souls

We love and obey our parents because of how they first showed us love throughout our lives. THIS IS THE EXACT SAME THING WITH GOD, our love is based on what he did by saving Christ Jesus and not what might happen if we don’t believe

Imagine your parents told u they wanted to adopt a child and your job was to advertise them to the child, what would u first say? How would u convince them that your parents are the best possible foster parents for them?

Now substitute your parents for God and the foster child for an unbeliever. There you go, there’s evangelism 101. God himself used his love advertise himself, you should also do the same - John 3:16, Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:19
