A thread collecting Tsukki's Moon chapter titles, because they are brilliant.

Ch 86 Moonrise: The chapter where we get to really *see* Tsukishima for the first time beneath the veneer of smugness.
Ch 162 Hope is a Waxing Moon: v Shiratorizawa, set 2, deuce, and Karasuno's hope rests on Tsukishima.

This is a very tricky chapter title to translate, because the furigana reads きぼう, which means "hope", but the kanji used are 機 - which means "chance" with the き reading,
and 望 - which is one of the kanjis used for "hope" 希望 but also means "full moon". So the raw title can be interpreted as "chance of a full moon", with "hope" embedded.
Ch 163 Moon's Halo: *the* Tsukishima's chapter

The raw title 月の輪 uses the two kanjis from 月輪, which means "full moon", which ties this chapter with 162, but 輪 on its own refers to "something round". So "something round that is of the moon" = "moon's halo"
Ch 166 Guardian and Moonlight: Nishinoya and Tsukishima combo
Ch 187 Midday Moon: where Tsukishima and Hinata shine together.
Ch 256 The Evening Moon: Tsukishima and Kageyama combo

This is the trickiest chapter title, since its whole meaning really got lost in translation. The raw title is 月夕, and it's the second half of 花朝月夕, which lit. means "morning flower evening moon". This is the phrase
used to mean finest time with beautiful scenery: when the flowers bloom on spring days and when the moon shines on autumn nights.

They are also proper nouns referring to certain dates in the lunar calendar. 花朝 refers to the 15th day of the 2nd lunar month,
月夕 refers to the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.

This is the date of the Mid-Autumn Festival, when the moon is at its brightest.

If I were the translator, I would translate ch 256 title to "The Brightest Moon".
The journey from “Moonrise” to “The Brightest Moon” and beyond is one hell of a character arc.
