okay, i am not sure how to say this, but i hope it is read with love:

i have officially closed my DMs and will no longer receive DMs from people i don’t follow or who i don’t DM first.

i am overwhelmed with the amount of people asking for help. i’m sorry.

my DMs have been filled with hundreds of messages of endless sad stories from people who need help that i cannot provide. i can’t give money to everyone, i don’t have resources for everyone, i can’t post/boost everyone’s fundraising links.

i have had my DMs open for a very long time because i’ve always been a resource to others (willingly, most times). but i have a lot going on now and cannot be a constant resource to everyone else in this moment.

i’m not looking for sympathy, just trying to be clear.

i’m empathetic to everyone. i see you and i’m sorry that the world has left soooo many of us with limited resources and no one to hear our pleas. and it’s because of that that i feel so bad for now cutting off one more possible resource.

i just cannot read through hundreds of messages everyday with endless sad stories. i hope this makes sense and that everyone gets the help they need!
