i wanna start this off with saying that there's nothing wrong with the meme and he still goes along with it so its fine. but it has recently devolved into a lot more than that with the questions he's getting asked getting a lot more personal and im afraid some people are
forgetting that just because he's open about these thinfs doesn't mean that a) you don't need to ask if he's okay with those questions beforehand and b) he isn't a person with boundaries because you SHOULD and he IS.

-starting off with his musical genius; matthew has written 70% of kards discography, meaning 18/21 songs not including instrumentals or intros. he's also produced a handful of those songs. the entire red moon album is written by him and he also produced and wrote dumb litty
not only that but he has his own soundcloud (ill link later in the thread) where he composes, produces and writes his own solo songs.

-if you've listened to one or more kard songs you'd know they own the tropical house genre, with influences of edm and hip hop. but along with that, almost every song that matthew has written is trilingual.
his mother is fluent in spanish and his father in lived in brazil for quite some time, so he knows quite a bit of spanish making his songs, in my personal opinion, a bit more enticing and exciting to listen to
on that note matthew always tried to reach out to and include not only khiddens but intlhiddens as best he can and give all fans somewhere where they can feel wanted and necessary.

-kard is a co-ed group consisting of two females (jiwoo and somin) and two males (jseph and matthew) matthew has repeated on multiple occasions that kard would NOT be kard without the girls.
he's gone as far as saying that they make the group stronger and has always shown massive respect for them.
i find this especially admirable because he was originally only supposed to debut with jseph.

-along with his own members, bm also shows lots of support and respect for his fellow idols and artists. he's said before that he wants to collab with monsta x's joohoney some day and is really good friends with sammy/woosung of the rose.
he's also a part of dive studios who are notorious for housing idols such as peniel of btob, ashley of ladies code, @Jae_Day6 of day6, jamie park, tablo of epik high and others. he's shown support for CL and Jessi in the past as well.
-matthews representative playing card in kard is the King, because (as said by him and his members) he's the strongest and most dependable member. they've also said this makes him the backbone of the group/solid foundation.
-matthew runs his own clothing company called staydium, http://staydiumla.com , which his parents help him run. they mostly sell pants but as of right now they're working on restocking the big tiddie gang merch, who's first batch sold out, and who's proceeds partially+
go towards breast cancer awareness and research.
-matthew has a frederick douglas quote as a tattoo, and has continuously shown his support for the blm movement on his instagram. he's also always listened to fans when they correct him
at a chicago fanmeet he spoke to fans saying "we would never say any type of derogatory term". and has always shown appreciation for many types of culture
-matthew runs an instagram page other than his main called @/bm.hiddenart (at least i assume he runs it) where he reposts fanart of himself by hiddens (and always gives credit) no matter the medium and once again just showing massive love and support of the fans.
-this one may be more personal to me, but matthews instagram (@/bigmatthewww) is full of gym pictures and videos. but no, they're not just him flexing. he's always kept us updated on his perosnal health as well as motivating us to keep going and working hard to stay healthy.

other hiddens through this. you'll frequently hear me say that he's one of my biggest inspirations period, disregarding the whole kpop thing.
-matthew is also one of my favorite dancers, just period. he has amazing energy and control over the way he moves and also an excellent sense of musicality. none of his moves ever seemed forced, and in fact seem almost effortless.

i forgot they speak portuguese in brazil, not spanish! so matthews dad being there doesn't have anything to do with his spanish knowledge, mainly just school and his mom !!
