There is this question that many Christians keep asking and it is

'"Can a Christian lose his/her salvation?" or "Is Once Saved, Forever Saved?"

Let me help answer this question according to the scriptures!

Issa Thread 🔥🔥❤
Jesus Christ said in John 10:28 - “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish . . . .” This verse suggest that when a Person receives eternal life then death is impossible to such a person.
I know some may want to ask, should we live anyhow and still expect to have our salvation? Relax i will address that in another thread

Now concerning our Salvation as a Christian it is God's gift to us. This Gift we didn't do anything to earn it.
Now to you that is reading this and you are not born again Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Notice the last phrase, “no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” There is only one entrance into Heaven.
There is only one door. The Door’s name is Jesus Christ

Helping the poor is good, but it doesn’t save. Attempting to keep the Ten Commandments is awesome, but it’s not the door. Being religious is good but it won’t get you saved. Salvation is in Jesus Christ only!
Back to the topic of Salvation

John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Salvation is a gift from God. We neither pay for a gift nor work to earn it.
Now you may ask, "if we accept it, can we also lose it?"

See your salvation has been purchased not only by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross but by the blood of God as well
The blood of Jesus is sufficient to not only purchase your salvation but also to keep it! Look at the verse above it says "Buying it and Saving it for Himself"

As a Christian since your salvation was purchased, it belongs to the one who purchased it - Jesus Christ.
It is His responsibility to keep track of His purchase, not mine, not yours.

Hebrews 5:9 AMPC says "And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him,"
Jesus Christ has become the author of eternal salvation. Eternal means without end. For someone who has truly come to Christ for salvation, they can know that it will last forever. That's why the verse says "Eternal Salvation"
Romans 8:38-39 says that “. . . neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The Apostle John says "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
1 John 5:13 KJV

That we can know that we have eternal life.
The important word in this verse is, know. We can have absolute assurance that our salvation is secure. We can know.

Again, in 1 John 5:11, we find that God gives eternal life, and this eternal life is found in His Son, Jesus Christ.
The eternal life is bound up in Jesus Christ, not us. It is not ours to lose or to keep. Peter tells us in Acts 4:12 that salvation is only found in Christ. Salvation is not about a religion. It is about a personal relationship with the God of the universe.
Absolute truth does exist even if we choose to not believe it. This is God's truth!

1 Peter 1:5 says "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

This verse informs us that our salvation is kept by God.
If I was to keep my salvation I would surely lose it.

No question about it, but it is God’s keeping.

What He died and resurrected for, He will keep. It simply isn’t my job.

There is a statement that Jesus made! That statement is very powerful!
Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Follow these words carefully. The next verse says
My Father, which gave theme, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." (John 10:27-29).

To think I can lose my salvation puts the emphasis back on me. What do I have to do to keep my salvation intact?
The truth is there is nothing I can do. It is all about what Jesus did. If Jesus can save me (and He can – He did), then He certainly has the power to keep me.

Many times people think they can lose their salvation because of wrong explanation of scriptures.
So if you think you can lose your salvation drop a scripture that supports your claim let me help you explain it
