Further Nolan Show analysis of partiality & bias based on an analysis of appearances across the last 21 shows (spanning multiple stories).

Thread 👇🏼
Here is a chart showing individual politicians appearances over 21 shows, ordered largest to smallest.
Heres a pie chart showing the total number and % of politicians appearances by unionist, nationalist and alliance designation. 54% were unionist, 25% alliance and 21% nationalist.
Next Journalist appearances: the most frequent appearance was Sam McBride followed by Amanda Ferguson & Mick Fealty
Broken down by political designation the number of appearances by journalists & commentators is as follows. Note- I have designated Mick Fealty & Malachi O’Doherty as “Neutral” as in not unionist or nationalist. Appreciate others may disagree. 44% unionist, 28% nat, 28% neutral.
So why do this? I wanted to see if there is empirical evidence that the political guests and commentators is biased in favour of unionism or nationalism.

I think the evidence over a series of programmes is clear that there is partiality in the guests but you decide.
The MSM its harder to analyse. The Nolan Show is a “talk show” as opposed to light entertainment. Most of its toxicity relates to sensationalising issues & exploiting people for ratings rather than political bias but this provides some evidence that political bias is there also.
