After catching up as much as I can (since a main post was deleted before I logged on)—I’m not sure how to feel, tho I do believe in genuine change.

I am white and have no ounce of audacity to say I “forgive” them bc it’s not my place! I do not and will not speak for others. 1/3
I didn’t see the things they said but I don’t need to at this point bc my BIPOC mutuals/people I follow have expressed their feelings.

I am sad because people are hurting today but I am also sad because there is no clear cut “rehabilitation” for someone who clearly has grown 2/3
Idk man. I don’t feel like I can speak on this much bc I have NEVER said the n word, never treated others poorly based on their background/ethnicity, but I WAS raised in a racist environment!

I feel like there needs to be a path for those who WANT to change and be better

BUT that is not something a WHITE person nor even a single person should dictate. I think it’s just a good conversation to have because we can’t beat down a true desire to be better. People don’t have to support those people (duh), but there needs to be an option for them. 4/4
