So when will @jk_rowling stop using her platform to cancel transgender people’s peaceful existence? I’m asking every one of you who signed, because you signed on to her hate, too.

You co-signed an author who is blatantly deflecting accountability for actively spreading scientifically debunked theories, making anti-trans hate speech sound reasonable, and participating in a coordinated political campaign against a marginalized and powerless minority.

The tweets and essays @jk_rowling has shared have rolled back transgender inclusion and civil rights efforts at the governmental level in the UK and the US—this month—google it.

If @jk_rowling were to be as openly racist as she is anti-trans, I doubt any of you would have kited off her platform’s reach the way you have. So much for solidarity.

Just so we’re all on the same page: being transgender isn’t an opinion. But it does get us cancelled—from jobs, from our families, from life—every day.

So when are you esteemed authors going to sign on to supporting us like you did @jk_rowling as she actively works against us?
