I think we need to end this Jorginho debate.I'll tell you why he eventually won't be enough effective under Lampard.
Lampard favours a lone DM and 2 attacking midfielders. The reason is clear that he knows that our centre backs are not that good enough and would need help.

That is the prime reason why Jorginho doesn't have many assists. We don't have players that are good to hold onto a long pass and finish it clinically. We re just not strong there.
Giroud can sometimes hold on well, but it becomes really difficult for him to finish or pass ahead.

One great thing when Jorginho comes on is that we have more control/possession but that possession is mostly with jorginho that gives him lot of time to think for making a long pass, which eventually is useless.
That's why we were losing even though we had more possession.

Now, the argument is how come jorginho has better defensive stats than Kante. That is because Jorginho plays a bit higher than Kante and pressures the opponent. He is very good at that but that doesn't help us much.

This vid should mean that he wants to come higher up the pitch and that leaves a big void and we are not able to contain the counter attacks. He has very good vision which inevitably makes him to push higher up the pitch.

One main disadvantage of Jorginho is that he isn't fast enough. If he comes forward and is not able to tackle down the player, it takes him ages to track back. His sprint is also relatively not that good. Kante and Billy actually fit much much better to this 'system'.

I guess, this thread will make sense to the statement "he is very good but not for us".
In fact, I also did believe that he would be good for us. Selling him to Juventus this season for 45-55 mil would be the right thing.

He is a great professional and a true blue. I really hope to see him play for some time in the remaining games.
