You guys ask great questions. Here are a couple of answers to questions I've been asked lately.

How will we know about school outbreaks this fall?
There are two parts to that: One, how will schools notify via contact tracing? Two, how will the public more broadly know?

-->>
From ADH:
Schools will notify us as soon as they know, then they will start making a list of probable close contacts. Each school district will have a designated contact person who will be the connection for cases and management. That person will notify within the district...
From ADH continued:
If/when we get a case before the district knows about it, then the CI nurse will call that contact person at the district to let them know.
The above tweets cover the first question: How contact tracing will work for schools. Basically, the schools are responsible for notification.

The second question: How will the public more broadly be made aware?
That one is still up in the air.
I've asked if there will be a report for schools similar to those for congregate settings and workplaces. It would make sense for daycares, schools, and churches to be in the same bucket.

ADH said they have not yet determined if there will be a report.
I've also been asked about positive cases among state employees. We already know about cases among state correctional facility employees, so we won't consider that. However, I have not seen any reports of state agency positives outside of correctional facilities.
I asked if that meant there had not been more than 5 active cases within any one state agency. Here was the answer:
"If we have five or more cases in one state agency, they would be included on the occupational clusters report, as we do with other businesses."
There haven't been any state agencies listed on the occupational clusters report as yet. Those reports look at individual locations. For instance, a specific DMV location would likely have to hit the 5 active cases threshold to be reported. (not all DMV's pooled together)
I hope that helps. Thanks for the great questions. Keep them coming, and I'll keep asking!
