This is the rascal that got her into her delicate condition.
He took his shot about five months ago when another goat busted the gate open. Only took him about thirty seconds to get the deed done. Not sure if he deserves applause or boos for that.

For all of you who like the REAL details. Here’s what we are dealing with in the back end right now.
She had triplets in September and she’s as big or bigger than she was then, so place your bets on how many are in there. (She got bred accidentally, I wouldn’t normally have bred her so soon.) I’m guessing two or three kids this time.
Giving her some space and watching the barn camera.
Last time it took her a few hours to deliver from this point, but one kid wasn’t positioned properly so I had to assist. Here’s hoping everything goes well and I don’t have to put my hand inside a goat today.

As someone who has given birth three times, it’s so fascinating to see how she’s able to do what feels best for her. We aren’t all able to have that freedom during L&D.
