My last romantic situation ended because I discovered he was lying about his relationship status. The entire time we were involved and I believed him to be single, he was actually very much in a relationship. I walked away without a further word.

My best friend asked me “What did he say about the girlfriend when you asked him about it?” I told her that I didn’t ask him anything I just walked away. There was nothing for us to further discuss.

Because once you SEE the truth for yourself with your own eyes, you’re not asking them anything for clarity. It’s CLEAR. What you’re doing is asking them questions in hopes that they provide you with enough of an explanation to convince you to continue you deal with them.

I told her “I’m done giving men the chance to lie to me”. And I stand on that. I want you ladies to stand on that with me too. Stop letting people further explain any forms of disrespect or deception. You’re not looking for answers you’re looking for EXCUSES to stay.

Had I called him like “I found out you’re in a relationship” all he would have done is LIE. And even if he wouldn’t have lied at that moment, our initial connection was already tainted by the lies of how it started.

His sex was AMAZING. His energy was dope. I did not WANT to leave him. And my vulnerability matched with my desire to be with him would NOT have made for an easy walk away if I called him up emotional about him lying to me. He probably would’ve finessed me out my panties

This is why is incredibly important we stop giving people the chance to play in our face. If you know you need to leave them alone, you got all the evidence you need to make a decision, don’t even waste your time with their explanations.

In conclusion, do not become someone who’s gonna cry and still stay. He won’t take you serious. The lies will get lazier and weaker. And eventually, you’ll stop taking yourself serious too. Girl I beg of you, just walk away once you see what it is. NO EXPLANATION NEEDED.
