My take: You don't know if a mask is going to help. On the chance that it might, you should wear one. This is not political, this is human decency.

If covid-19 is present in coughs and sneezes then any mask and social distancing certainly helps.
You should not be angry about having to wear a mask. Even if it is proved one day to be a complete waste of time. At this moment in time, it's the right thing to do.
Who recommends medical masks in conditions where you are sick or you are taking care of someone who is sick. Many people get sick and never show symptoms - this is reason enough for everyone to wear a mask.
I will mute this thread if people want to argue.

A mask does not hurt you and it might help others.

This is the only thing that matters at this point.

America is putting up covid dream team numbers and we need to do better as a country.
