i feel like taku's character is so misunderstood. he's a quiet guy, an introvert, who only let's his thoughts out whenever he feels like it's important to. He's honest with his own feelings and has never made himself look like a perfect guy, he has always admitted to his +
mistakes, claiming that he's not a perfect person either. Taku is selfish, and also feels all those ugly emotions that come with the feeling of actually loving someone for the first time. Taku is insecure and he gets angry as well, even though he also is amazing at +
hiding it, in order to not make haesoo uncomfortable around him. Taku can be childish and say things that may come off as rude but that's what makes him so humanly imperfect, and that's exactly what I love the most about him. He's a character so different from what we are +
used to. He's observant rather than talkative, he sees the world in such an intense way, and his line of thought is absolutely fascinating to me. Taku is weird but still calm and collected. He's straightforward when he needs to and knows how to read the atmosphere, +
knows what is adequate to say or not to say depending on the situation. Taku is complex and intense in his own way, he's mysterious and that's why people find him so suspicious. Taku is not your typical character, but that's what makes him so interesting to me. +
He is caring and gentle, touches haesoo as if he's afraid of breaking him. He worries about haesoo's well being and about his feelings. Taku also played such a big part when it came to make haesoo realize that he can be his own individual. Taku helped haesoo realize that +
It's okay to be broken, that it's okay to feel lonely sometimes. Taku made haesoo realize that he deserved better than the push and pull relationship that he was having with joowon (and I'm not saying that that toxic relationship was only joowon's fault, both played a +
Part in it). Taku is such an important character for the development of the story. Even without realizing it, taku also made joowon realize that he couldn't take haesoo for granted.
Ofc he feels uncomfortable about joowon and might be shady and possessive, but he +
has always tried to hide his discomfort when he's around haesoo. Taku knows his place and knows joowon's place in haesoo's heart as well. Even if he doesn't feel great about it, he respects it and has never forced haesoo to stop talking to joowon. To me, taku +
is just a young guy that happened to fall in love at the wrong time. He was confident in the beginning but, as time went by, you can see how much taku actually changed. He's so desperate to be loved by haesoo, so desperate to have him reciprocate his feelings. The fact +
that he even told him that haesoo didn't need to love him yet, they could work on it later on. That's how desperate he actually was. The fact that he keeps holding on to the hope that haesoo might come to love him back, knowing that it's not like that for now.. It's so sad to me+
I think a lot of people need to look more into taku's character and not only see the superficial, shady, suspicious aura he has around him. Taku is way more than that and I feel like, once you dare to see beyond that, you will fall in love with him just as much as I did.
and to finish, taku is such a puppy like character. He's so damn cute and he's clingy too, he loves touching and hugging and kissing haesoo all the time. He's so damn adorable, even his design, his curly hair too, adds to that feeling. anyways, taku best boy 🥺
