Ike is a former housemates of the popular reality TV show--Big brother Naija.

90% of persons who watched the show would agree with me that they always remember Ike for one thing- his entaglement with @real_mercyeke

1: Lets talk about how some people in your life can shine light on your path while they also put out your own light.

PS: I'm putting this out through my own lense.

Ike came into the show, just like everyother housemate, with or without a strategy.

2: The focus was the show and the many benefits that's comes with it.

Few days into the show, everyone seem to have their 'A' game on except Ike.

Ike had another 'Focus'

3: It was more like the other housemates were chasing the money while Ike was chasing someone else who's chasing the money.

Which is not a bad thing after all..

I mean, at the end, they are all 'chasing' something, right?

4: Now, through the show, I only see Ike as a boring-American-returnee who has misplaced priorities.

No offence.

At a point, he didn't care about the show, he cared only about winning the heart of the Imo State Queen of highlights.

5: I don't know if that was part of the strategy to stay in the game but if it was, it served that purpose.

To me, ike isint the type that could pass for a 'Reality' TV star..

He laughs when he's supposed to be serious.

6: So it's safe to say, he lasted in the house because he had a thing going on with him and 'Mercy'

That kept him all up on our faces during the show.

Which is a good thing but then..

That tangle and pursuit took away the 'real' ike from us. Or maybe from me.

7: It took me one year after the show to actually see Ike.

It took me one year to see through him.

It took me the Reunion show to see how much of a sweet soul he is.

Ike would easily pass as one of the most honest housemate of the 'pepper dem' season.

8: He says things they way they are.

He embraces reality!

There are just few persons who could easily speak the truth without having to blink twice.

I didn't see this side of Ike then because the only thing, to me, that defines him was his love angle with mercy.

9: I can't recall for one day, voting Ike.

Why?

I didn't think the house is somewhere he should be at that time.

Believe me, if I had seen the ike in seen now, I would have definitely voted him.

Might not add nothing but still.

Through this reunion, I always want to hear him speak.

The way he say things they way they are wearing those smiles I never liked then..

That been said.. There's always a two side to a coin.

People may not have voted also because of how I saw him in the house but there..

11: but there are people who voted and must have loved him because of that same way I saw him.

Good luck to him on future endeavour.
