He has this very distinct memory of a dream that he had when he was two, or probably three years old. It was a place, a dark place.

And someone called him, and old man. He called him by the name heโ€™s never even heard of.
His name is Kai, or he thought he was. Thatโ€™s what his mother told him, that Himura Kai was his name.

Ever since he was a little kid, He would always dream about that old man. He never wondered who he was, because he would always say, in his dreams, that โ€œWeโ€™ll meet soon,โ€
His mother said that his father died in a war. She never told him which war, or what kind of war.

But one thing she didnโ€™t understand, that Kai always had a father, in his dreams. They would say that it was only a fragment for his imagination.
Everyone thought that he was just longing for a father figure, but his mother knew that it wasnโ€™t only a kidโ€™s imagination.

But sheโ€™d kept her mouth shut, and rather not telling her son the truth. About the father.

He believed that lie for years.
Until one day, someone called him by the name that he heard in one of his dreams.

It was the same voice from his dreams. The old man was real. El Padre is real.

His name wasnโ€™t Himura Kai.
