I'm unapologetic about telling entitled South Africans the truth they don't want to hear.

Don't tell me that I'm "speaking from a point of privilege."

This small "privilege" started in Grade 9, in an under-resourced school, when I decided to pay a little more attention in class
Yes, there are structural issues in South Africa.

Yes, the inequality is not by accident.

But you need to take responsibility for your own life.

There are so many opportunities out there for black South Africans.

You need to make the plan. Nobody is going to save you.
And "opportunity" doesn't mean an "easy gain".

You don't just get an opportunity and "sit back."
