I would hear my neighbour being beaten up by her husband every day , I’d ring their bell & they’d get silent 4 sometime.. Only to realise that I couldn’t report abuse until wife mentioned herself & there was no other system so I just reported Neighbours disturbing me. The police person came , asked the wife if all was ok, she said In fear , it was just a fight & policeman left , told her to call 15

In a week the husband moved her somewhere else , I had her number but it wasn’t working anymore and I never found out where they went.

It’s an every house’s story rich or poor , conservative or liberal , religious or not ... this is an issue ... a dangerous issue and there is no support for women to not go through such violence at home
