#Orban says Europe is in retreat, because fertility rate, number of marriages, defence spending, global ratio of the EU's economic output are down. Plus the balance of power has changed in EU: Germany is one again "the strong man" in Europe, expected to save EU integration

#Orban says while Europe cannot solve its own problems, like in Libya, Ukraine, it wants to tell the Chinese, Russians, Turkish, Israel, and now even USA how they should run their country, "We have put an end to that practice," he says

#Orban sees two camps in EU: pro-migration, semi-marxists, anti-family, which wants to get rid of nation-state and thinks the "Christian social teachings" are irrelevant, "a camp even inside @EPP" vs. anti-communist, pro-family, Christian-based camp holding national id as a value

The way to reconcile them in the #EU, #Orban says, is that the "west should not force its views on eastern countries, and we should not want to tell the westerns how they should run their country" #Article7

Ok, on #MFF #recovery, #Orban says #Hungary will agree to loans, but #recovery distribution must be "fair, flexible and non-political", EU will have tough talks, and "difficult to imagine how we can conclude in one round", negotiations will have to continue during the summer
