Today I am feeling very unfocused so I'm spending my short breaks adding closed captions to my videos (because I should have had them already). Excited to not only make the channel more accessible but also to enjoy seeing what auto-captions has done with a lot of fantasy terms...
I am very forgiving of construction
One video down! That didn't take long at all (recognising the privilege that comes with having an accent that robots can easily transcribe)
ah yes that well known author
ahem. Goodreads Goal
auto-captioning cannot cope with animorphs
DAY TWO of caption time and apparently I have renamed my channel...
it immediately got better
The Bonjour Otter video now has proper CCs YAY
I'm gonna keep updating this thread because ACCOUNTABILITY (and also it's like travelling back through my life in the last year)

Vlog now has CCs
This is actually monday's video but yeah...cannot cope with this book title...
DING DING another one done!
I think I'm going to try and finish one more today and then leave the 'meet my wife' video for later as that might be quite hard to decipher...
Last one for today - DONE
In the interest of keeping all of this together - Wives playing bookish games now has subtitles (hardest one so far with two people talking). I also did tomorrow's vlog and that was super quick so either youtube is learning or I am speeding up
oooh but that's a good thing to see!
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE CLOSED CAPTIONS

This means I am now up to date all the way back to the start of June!
I scoped the project. This is overestimating time (it doesn't take 25 minutes to do a 10 minute video) but still v much regretting only getting round to it now
The project continues (feel free to mute this thread btw I'm mostly using it for accountability) May wrap now has subs!
