i& #39;m making a thread of every game i beat this year (that i remember at least).
1. YAKUZA 0. FUCKING PHENOMENAL GAME. CERTIFIED MASTERPIECE. ALMOST MADE ME CRY AT THE END. PLEASE GO PLAY IT
2. Yakuza Kiwami. The first Yakuza certainly has an interesting plot, but i feel like this remake isn& #39;t really that great. it& #39;s an ok game, but by yakuza standards, it feels really grindy and not in a fun way. the ending was worth it. that& #39;s two games in a row i teared up to.
3. LISA: The Painful. fantastic rpg. i fucking love this games atmosphere and humor and setting and characters and soundtrack and.. i think you get the point. the combat system is also really fun. the games not for the faint of heart tho it& #39;s pretty rough (emotionally that is).
4. Parappa the Rapper. pretty fun rhythm game. can be surprisingly difficult sometimes. the chicken level can suck it
5. Parappa the Rapper 2. Fixes any problems i had with the first game. i think the songs are way better in this one too and i like the way the new HUD looks.
6. Devil May Cry. This is the most recent one i beat as of now, and what inspired me to make this thread. I& #39;ve said this before but the game is pretty clunky in some areas and the combat is a bit lacking. it& #39;s still a good game and u can see how they took this and improved it tho
