I see so many posts of artists telling people to not repost other artist& #39;s art & of course I agree, but the thing with these posts is that only other artists (or I guess anyone in the creative field?) understand exactly what that means. It& #39;s always the people who don& #39;t draw +
...at all that tend to repost art, right? Therefore they have no idea how long it takes to create art. The mindset, the struggles, everything about it cuz they& #39;ve never experienced it. Before I became an artist/content creator I also (briefly) thought that reposting art was +
...okay because I thought that helped the artist as long as people gave credit or searched for the watermark within the piece. Yeah I can& #39;t believe I actually thought people would see the watermark & search up the artist either. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😑" title="Ausdrucksloses Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Ausdrucksloses Gesicht"> How naive of me. +
Now that I taught myself how to draw, I now completely understand why reposting is harmful to artists. This thread isn& #39;t me trying to excuse why reposters do what they do, I& #39;m just trying to give a reason why they may think reposting someone else& #39;s art isn& #39;t bad in their eyes.
