i always feel mad uncomfortable when people ask me when i lost my virginity as if it holds value

some people ask just to be like oh when did you have sex for the first time and it’s just chill. then there’s others who actually care about virginity and i just be sitting there like why does it matter? again, rooted in misogyny

oh and every single time, i respond by saying “5.” just to make them very uncomfortable :)

the construct is stupid and that’s just one example of why. basing someone’s validity, purity or value off of when they had sex first is wrong. they always respond with “oh! i didn’t mean it like that..” no you did. you wanted to judge my character.

and if i told them i had sex at 14, they would judge my character as well. but they don’t understand that a lot of r*pe victims experience hyper sexuality as a result. so ya i just, sex judgment needs to be left in last century. it’s detrimental. it’s v harmful.
