Most computer nerds have 2 machines - one that changes all the time that they don’t really care about and a machine that is seven years old and they don’t want to change because it’s really traumatic to change over: work has decided (reasonably) that it’s PC change day for me...

Now in two weeks, my boss will be utterly right and my world will be better - and my back will hurt less from far less weight and all that - but for right now - I hate windows. I hate it with the intensity of a supernova.

I recommend watching the computer nerd in your life on the day they change over their work computer - it’s entertaining - and will make you feel better about your techno stress.

And for the computer nerds reading this thread - today’s the day I give up the old HP with the actual serial port in favour of a surface.
