Hey here's a real thing that once happened when I stole a list of famous people's phone numbers years ago, this is 20 years ago (1)

My friend @ManForeverUSA and I spent a whole night just calling people up. All kinds of people. Didn't get many, a lot of famous people had "answering services" back then. (2)

And then we decided to call Joni Mitchell (3)

And then Joni Mitchell answered the phone. (4)

We were speechless. Couldn't think of anything to say. Finally @ManForeverUSA sputtered out: "Joni...keep writing." And then hung up. (5)

And as the phone went down to the cradle we heard Joni Mitchell cackle and ask: "Is this Crosby???" (6)
