During the first lockdown, a FB & #39;fan& #39; if you will, contacted me and asked me if I& #39;d make some funny videos for their staff at the organisation they work at. They got me to send them a quote for four x 5 minute videos. I sent them the quote. They wrote back and said they...
...and their managers thought it was too low and they& #39;d pay a higher amount for them instead. I made the videos, sent them across each week for four weeks and then noticed that no one was watching them. I contacted the original contact to see if she& #39;d received them.
She said she had and that she& #39;d been too busy to respond to my emails. I sent her the final video along with an invoice. The videos remained unwatched. I sent a follow up email three weeks after the initial invoice was sent with it attached again.
I have never heard from her since. I& #39;ve never received payment and I just needed to write this down somewhere because it& #39;s at the back of my mind constantly that someone would go out of their way to give me work "to show their support because they& #39;re a big fan"...
...and then just ignore me, the work I did and not pay me particularly at a time when I& #39;d lost all my work.

Thank you for reading this rant. I will now continue making terrible puns in your feed.
