Nobody bothered to check who the other signatories are on the Harper's letter because they trusted Harper's

We're witnessing a dying instituion burning though their goodwill, accomplishing nothing but temporary chaos

They could have avoided this if they threw in a line about how the signatories disagreed with each other about trans people but free speech was still good

You know, the "hitler ate sugar" disclaimer

Management could bite the bullet and pay someone who spends all day on Twitter to vet these things so they don't accidentally wade into topics they didn't mean to cover

Because I think this TERF stuff was an unknown unknown to them
