I’ve seen a lot of BvS vs Civil War tweets today and here’s what I have to say.

As visually impressive as the final fight in BvS is, I’d take Civil War’s final fight over it any day of the week.

The thing is, minus the fact that we’re seeing the trinity for the first time in live action, there isn’t really a reason to care about what’s happening. Sure, it’s cool, but I can’t care about what’s happening because the characterization is weak as fuck.

In comparison, Civil War’s final fight is the brutal culmination of the breakdown of Tony and Steve’s friendship, a friendship that got worse as the film went on. You care about this fight because you care about both characters.
