THE SAD TALE OF THE ASYMPTOMATIC COVID
Person is forced to take test to maintain employment
Takes PCR test with large out of pocket cost
Results are questionable at best
But even though perfectly healthy you were exposed to covid and test + /1
This is temporarily an ASSUMED + because it takes time to analyze the RNA for the covid protein Thousands of samples running at the same time. More than 35 cycles with remaining covid protein you +
So 1 week later your PCR results come in and now the assumption has turned real /2
So one week after being forced to stop working due to covid "exposure" you are now officially a victim of COVID19 but you feel fine. I mean something is off, it's an unfamiliar feeling. People describe it like losing the taste of food. I call it depression /3
You still have a family to support
So after missing one weeks pay, remember no PTO, and being out the cost of the test, let's call it $150, you go back down to the clinic for another out of pocket test. When you get that test you are still assumed to be covid + /4
Crap now our friend is missing two weeks of work. Now home life gets a little stressed. Do they interact with the family? Are they healthy positives too? What if they are forced to take a test? Well I guess they should take extreme precautions. Remember still no symptoms /5
Finally one freaking week after the second test, 14 days after the first test you get your results

Crap still +

What the heck. Now it's three weeks and your employer is already struggling and they have to hire the fill in and cut you loose /6
Well at least there is unemployment, but you answered a question wrong and your unemployment benefits are in review

Still positive but completely healthy what do you think our friend should Do? /7
