@OhioSenateGOP @OHRGOPCaucus You crushed us with a 5+% cut across the board for public schools in FY2020 when you’re sitting on $2+ billion in reserves. You cut us & expect us to purchase cleaning supplies to keep kids safe as we think about opening school.

You’re deferring to us to envoke local control to open school yet give nothing on accountability. Despite all of this mayhem...we’ve got this because that’s what we do.

We have a President that says awful things about schools and how we’re indoctrinating kids to dislike or rally against our country, yet says “schools should open.” We love America and will learn from our mistakes and repression. We rise.

Public schools have been the constant throughout American history. You can’t rely on us when it’s difficult and bag on us when it’s easy. We’ve always delivered—yesterday, today and tomorrow.

It’s going to be difficult but watch us rise in the middle of a pandemic and the worst racial tensions we’ve witnessed since the ‘60s. #WeWillRise Why? Because that’s what we do! #PublicSchoolStrong
