while we're posting drama memories lets not forget when the teacher that hated me directed Cinderella and cast her own daughter as Cinderella and me, the girl she hated, as the evil stepmother, then proceeded to order all my costumes 4 sizes too big
when I was 14 she was my English teacher. she pulled me aside at a meeting for my first play and told me to "stay the hell away from her daughter." I dropped out of crew immediately
later that year she intentionally lost my final essay and threatened to give me a zero, so I rewrote it in a few hours and emailed it to her. I got a C
when her daughter asked my friend a question ab me to her, she demanded that my name not be mentioned in her house. YES, SHE WAS STILL IN CHARGE OF MY GRADES
my junior year, when I assumed whatever feelings she had towards ME, A CHILD,had passed,I auditioned for one of her plays. years of playing leads and she cast me in the freshman greenshow, where new kids get their feet wet. she smiled when she asked me if I was declining the role
also in my first play she was in charge of costumes and yet again intentionally ordered my clothes far too big, causing costuming to have to pin everything onto me to prevent my chest from showing.
four years and countless phonecalls between my mom and the principal and even personal phonecalls bt this teacher in my mom, nothing changed. the schoolboard protected her. she called me a slut on the phone to my mom :)
