I'm watching a show on Hulu called90 day fiance before the 90 days. Season 3 episode 1, has a story where a white female revert falls in love with a dude in Syria. So, there is a part where her mom (Christian) brings home a pizza. The revert asks, did u get cheese????
The mom says, Yes I know u can't eat pepperoni. Revert says, Mom I think u should learn words like shukran and afwan. Mom says, Listen I already told u I'm American and I speak English. I have some observations, and I think this is a perfect example why we need European
Sub communities. First of all, the revert doesn't have to speak Arabic nor do any of her family members for the Syrian guys sake. The family is unsure about Islam and Arabs. Just like other cultures are unsure about us reverts, it's normal. Just think if she married a white
Revert? The family will feel a little more comfortable. They will have more in common. The families will have more in common. The revert won't be requesting the family speak Arabic. It will all be way more smoother in my opinion. We reverts need to represent ourselves
So the families of reverts can feel more at ease about Islam and Muslims in general. @Islam4Europeans has excellent information about why as well as @robertofcanada. Check us out. Have an open heart and mind about why we want this.
