We should understand that this move by ICE is about pitting the public health of communities against the economic interests of the university (after decades of budget cuts & increased reliance on tiered tuition schedules by residency & citizenship status.)

Beyond that, it’s also pitting institutional arrangements vs the well-being of those who are already placed at greatest risk by the status quo (amplified by the pandemic).
