3/ When we confronted Facebook about a bot network spreading propaganda in blatant violation of the spirit of the coordination inauthentic behavior policy, they suggested we talk to our digital team about creating our *own* network. Anecdotes aside: Facebook has made too little progress since 2016 on fighting disinformation, reigning in clickbait and sensationalist content, and fighting hate speech. This isn't about partisanship, it is about political discourse in a civil society.
