Fellow warriors of the Empire! I’m real psyched about the new Klingon Empire Core Rulebook for #StarTrek Adventures. I'm gonna share some promotional pages from @Modiphius and point out some interesting bits as I go. Join me for a thread!

The first preview I can share is from the introduction and it includes a sidebar explaining why this is a 400 pg core rulebook rather than a 130 pg supplement. This product is intended to be a standalone entry point to #StarTrek Adventures from an entirely #Klingon point of view.
The Klingon book is all compatible with the previous core book, but some of the rules have been clarified and revised. The passage mentions reputation as one of the mechanics to get an update, and I applaud that decision!
The next preview page is from the second chapter all about the Empire’s history, culture and politics. This is a long chapter with all kinds of interesting background to help GMs and players dig into the setting and culture.
This chapter does not mention the Federation-Klingon war depicted on Discovery, of course, since the Modiphius license does not include any of the new CBS All Access material.
This image is from chapter 3, which details the core rules. As stated before, most of this material is totally compatible with the previous core rulebook, but some mechanics have been revised, such as reputation.
This preview is from chapter four, which details character creation. There’s also a section on House creation as well, which will be of great value in a Klingon campaign.
As you can see, this page shows how the rules differentiate bumpy-forehead Klingons and smooth-forehead Klingons mechanically. There are different attribute bonuses, and the smooth-forehead Klingons (QuchHa’) get a couple extra talents from which to choose.
Finally, the last preview page is from ch. 7, about starship rules and life in the Klingon Imperial Fleet. Note the importance of the ship’s cook. Gotta keep your crew’s morale up by serving only the freshest gagh.
