The opinion that people should look to tanks to lead in all content is so dumb imo. It creates power complexes in tank mains and it scares new players from trying the role because they dont know how to "lead" yet.

They tank aggro from the party. Thats the definition of the role.

That issue of "dont run ahead of me in a dungeon" stems from the power complex, too. It doesnt matter who is running and hitting the adds first in a dungeon, especially with how easy it is to secure aggro when all the adds are together.
