Frankly I am disgusted, no, revolted with the behaviour of TRAs, that I have experienced a couple of days ago. My crime? A tweet of support to @jk_rowling who has written a thread about the concerns many share regarding unethical medical treatment of children with GD

Anyone who claims to be even a tiny bit interested in the welfare of trans youth should be asking exactly the same questions. Instead what we got was another outpouring of narcissistic rage which I have only previously witnessed in a secure environment.

I don’t care anymore how we all got to this point. If someone told me ten years ago that a woman who states basic scientific facts such as that biological sex is real, binary and immutable, that men and women are different physically and in the way they are socialised

That this difference is relevant medically, that children shouldn’t be given drugs which can cause life-long irreversible damage to their bodies in order to make them resemble the opposite sex,

And that by saying this, or retweeting someone who says this, can get you swamped with false accusations, rape and death threats, doxxing and a mob full of raging men trying to get you ruined professionally,

And that the institutions are indulging them despite the fact many among them are shown to be very homophobic, misogynistic and transphobic themselves, I would have told you that it is impossible our society would ever sink that low. Yet here we are.

So I’m done pretending this is temporary, one off, not really happening. Our society is engulfed in a criminal rage that‘ s playing out online and spilling over into the real world. Institutions have been cowed into fulfilling demands out of fear of being falsely accused next.

I am incredibly disappointed. How mighty have fallen, eh? Britain, ostensibly a cultural leader of the world, US, an empire, have turned into violent idiocracies where people are forced to repeat obvious lies under threat to their livelihoods.

To the mob: How stupid you all sound if you could only see yourselves from the outside! And the saddest thing, you don’t have the support of the public. Go to any comment section where regular people are voicing their utter disbelief that this is allowed to go on.

Speak to people on the street what they think about allowing men unrestricted access to women's facilities, or about referring to their mothers as a “cervix haver” or a “chest feeder” or ask her what she thinks about her vagina that BIRTHED YOU being rebranded as “front hole”.

At which point will this end? When will adults say I don’t care about your accusations, denial and projections. You aren’t the first abuser who is trying to flip everything on its head and luckily we have decades of scientific research and millenia of common sense to back us up.

You you are wrong. And also, you are a wrongun. Beliefs you are espousing don’t make any sense, you have no knowledge and no evidence to substantiate your claims, please go over into a corner to have your tantrum, we have work to do cleaning this mess up. Enough is enough.
