Pop the front pin and you have broken down the entire “rifle”. I ain’t gonna get into taking apart the BCG and all. There’s YT vids that do a way better job

I personally run a milspec BCG and a BCM CH. If your BCG collapses if you stand it up? It’s time to work on it and change some parts

You have to half ass insert the CH before you stick the BCG in there. It’s a thing.
