They were military exercises.

Those were US special-operations troops training how to be inserted into a dense urban environment.

Every single second of the exercises were filmed by the press.

Therefore THOSE exercises were totally legit.

BUT.

There's always the possibility that they were distraction from something else.

That's how easy it is to fool people who claim to know everything about "black ops."

I never use that term, by the way. I'm not trying to impress anybody. I just find this fascinating.

The best deceptions are based on truth.

Therefore REAL, SCHEDULED exercises were carried out.

And maybe something else happened while everyone was looking in the wrong direction.

This type of insertion can't be hidden.

But plenty of others CAN be.

On December 4, 2017, Yemeni Brigadier General Tareq Abdullah Saleh--commander of the Yemeni 3rd Republican Guard Brigade--announced to the world that he'd turned against his Houthi allies.

The Houthis ambushed Saleh's house in Sana'a and leveled it, killing everyone inside.

The Republican Guard are trained by the Saudis.

They're VERY good.

Saleh is on the center left, wearing the bush hat.

The Houthis said they'd gotten word that Saleh was going to defect, so they secretly moved troops into all the neighboring houses and attacked with heavy weapons.

They announced that they'd killed Saleh.

Several weeks later, Saleh appeared alive and well, in Southern Yemen.

It took a while for the details of what happened to leak out, and they're stunning.

Saleh was rescued by UAE Presidential Guard in the middle of the ambush. The Emiratis masqueraded as Houthis. They probably disguised Saleh as a Houthi.

Saleh's family had long been evacuated.

Uses drones, the Emiratis were able to gauge when to emerge from the ruins and mingle with the crowd of screaming, drug-addled Houthis.

Saleh was then spirited from safe house to safe house.

On December 7, 2017, the Emiratis blasted their way out of Sana'a in a convoy of high-performance, low-rider vehicles armed with forward-firing automatic cannons.

Flying at street level in front of the convoy were armored IOMAX Archangel aircraft firing rockets and missiles.

There were also Emirati Northstar 407 MRH attack helicopters armed with Gatling guns, rockets, and missiles.

The convoys and airpower destroyed dozens of roadblocks, killing everyone in front of them.

They were out of the city so fast that nobody even knew what had happened.

Saleh went to Aden in South Yemen, all his men defected together and went to Aden.

They were armed with advanced weapons THAT THEY ALL KNEW HOW TO USE, and then they disappeared.

Saleh's INITIAL defection to the Iran-backed Houthis was a plan he'd worked out with the Saudis long before the war of 2015.

Saleh and his men knew EVERYTHING about the Houthis.

And they were Yemenis.

The Yemenis themselves had to fight this war.

That's why the WHOLE WAR was a strategic deception.

The Saudis and Emiratis fought a "holding action."

They held the Houthis at bay while helping all the OTHER factors work out their differences.

Yemen has had civil war after civil war.

We're seeing the last one.

Yemen will become a loose federation with semiautonomous zones.

That's the future of the Middle East.

Westerners chopped up the Middle East after World War One without regard to the desires of the people who LIVED there.

As a result we've had endless disaster.

All of that is ending.

And THAT is why @realDonaldTrump is beloved in the Middle East.

He's helping everyone settle their differences once and for all and find permanent arrangements that satisfying everyone.

The Saudis and Brigadier General Saleh worked out the mother of all deceptions.

That's why major combat operations are OVER.

WE CAN DO IT TOO. You bet.

So if you SEE it, that means it's an exercise.

You won't see the REAL operations, if they even happen.
