For the most part, Jews skew left, and most Jews I know unconditionally support the BLM movement. 1st, to those Jews who are hesitant about BLM because of this: you're absolutely right to be wary of the people spreading this rhetoric and staying away from them is a good idea. But BLM is NOT this movement. Fighting racism isn't conditional on the politics of the victims.

I can think you're antisemitic trash and still believe you have the right to not be murdered by police. To the non-Black Jews, you have to understand that BLM is not about you. Some manipulative Jew-haters have tacked this on to BLM for their own publicity; BLM still matters.

2nd, to the non-Jewish activists: fucking stop this bullshit. I've been silent on certain topics because I didn't want it to be interpreted as "distracting" but it's no more distracting than this garbage. Jews are still oppressed minorities who are targeted A LOT.

Those MAGA nazis hate Jews, too. In 2016 there was a huge spike in antisemitic hate crimes and the non-Jewish world was silent. While you're standing up for Black rights, stand up for Jewish lives, too. And if you can't do that, at least stop calling for genocide.

That's a low fucking bar. The same white activists who tweet things about how we should listen to minorities and believe them turn around and goysplain antisemitism to Jews. I know people make mistakes but this is not an accident.

Activism is not a zero-sum game. While you are learning to listen to Black voices, learn to listen to Jews, too, because we're targets of the same people, and we're also targets of the left, and that needs to stop. You need to kick these people out of your ranks.

"From the river to the sea" means getting rid of all Jewish Israelis. "Fuck your two states" means they're not interested in coexistence and that Jews don't have a right to live in peace on the land they're indigenous to.

There are many possible visions of what a peaceful solution to this conflict would look like and it's almost certainly more complicated than you are led to believe, but this is not one. This is a call for genocide around the world. This is antisemitism disguised as nationalism.

The left tolerates this because frankly they hate Jews as much as the right, they just put it in different clothing. While you are in a receptive mood to look at your own racism due to the conversations being had in regards to BLM, look at your antisemitism, too.

Stop tolerating the racists in your ranks just because they share one issue in common with you. The left is not safe for Jews, even though Jews have always been involved in leftist causes. You won't even admit antisemitism is a "you" problem.
