Art Advice I Wish I'd Been Taught When I Was Starting Out:

Draw the line on the page, not the line in your head.
The 'undo' key is not your friend. Work with the line you put down, don't undo it over and over again until it's 'perfect'.

It will never be perfect.
The secret to being dependable isn't working yourself into the ground, it's drawing every day, even if it's just for a little bit.
When someone says, "Can you draw more like (insert name of popular artist here)?", politely decline and keep drawing the way you draw.
And the single most important art advice if you want to be a working comic book artist with a solid career --

Never ever ever dodge your editor, no matter how behind you are.
I've said that last one many times, but it's always a good thing to remember.

Editors are your ally. They will do everything they can to help you get the job done. It's what they do.
