bisexuality vs pansexuality : a needed thread
i'd like to start this by saying i'm pansexual and in no way do i want to speak over bisexuals or the entire pansexual community, so if i say something wrong please tell me.
what are the two sexualities?

-bisexuality is the attraction to people of two or more gender identities.

-pansexuality is the attraction to people of all gender identities or the attraction to people regardless of gender identity.
aren't they the same thing?

-they are not the same however they are very similar. bisexuals and pansexuals are cousins almost, they come from the same family but both have their differences.
are one of the two sexualities transphobic?

-both bisexuality and pansexuality are trans-inclusive, transgender isn't a separate gender, both sexualities can be attracted to non-binary people.
the differences between the two sexualities may not mean anything to you or hold any importance but to the people who identify under those labels it may mean the world so please respect both.
i wanted to make this short thread because i've seen a lot of confusion recently with people calling them both the same or saying pansexuality is just "woke bi" which isn't the case. an easy way to remember the difference is that pansexuals are 'gender blind' in a way.
if you have any questions feel free to ask!! also thank you for reading.
i'd like to add that everybody experiences sexuality differently and wanting everyone to fit into one label because you don't understand the other is extremely harmful.
