Teachers & Admins, help me with something:

Won't the reduced attendance caused by parents homeschooling and ultimately caused by the gov't forcing schools to reopen with no alternative lead directly to school budgets being gutted since dollars are based on warm bodies in school?
Which, when you piece it together, lets politicians leverage Covid-19 to directly attack school funding? It's been at least 10 years since I did anything with schools so I could be off on this.
And then if a charter school "innovates" for the crisis and offers online courses, those dollars will flow there.

I could be imagining this... and education isn't my field of expertise, but bullshit is. and I smell bullshit.
and let's not forget the gentrification value of public school real estate that would conveniently be more accessible if all of a student that school had to shutter its doors because of a lack of funding directly connected to COVID homeschooling.
