. @terrycrews I applaud you for *trying* to be a part of important conversations. However, each time, you display why you should sit them out.

It’s cool to have opinions. It’s harmful to flagrantly toss out anecdotes to fit your own agenda.

But since you insist, let’s talk.
1.) BLM (the organization or the statement) are not “anti-white.”

You’ve logged on several times and falsely implied that people supporting the movement are incapable of understanding this.

You “white not all bad” / “black not all good” statement was unneeded.
2.) When speaking on systemic oppression, there is such a thing as objective truth. That means there is no nuance or debate.

The truth here is that every institution in this nation was built to benefit white people and displace/stunt minorities.
3.) You arguing that “not all white people are bad” is what we call a Strawman Fallacy. That means to build up a point lacking true substance, like a strawman, because it’s easy.

No one said “all white people are bad,”

we say all white people benefit from a corrupt system.
4.) Those white/white-passing beneficiaries then have the CHOICE (another privilege) to ignore that fact, or fight *with* us.

Key word: WITH.

Black people cannot dismantle white supremacy without white people.

Those people are called “allies.”
5.) So, no, Terry. The fight BLM, and all those who are responsibly using their platforms, are speaking on is not an anti-white agenda.

It’s calling for fair treatment for black people like you.

A woman was killed while sleeping in her home & you think we’re anti-white?
6.) Terry, I’d like to acknowledge my privilege of being younger and able to keep up with today’s literature.

However, it’s your responsibility to educate yourself & not regurgitate stats you were fed by someone equally unqualified.
7.) Have you noticed that the only time black on black crime is brought up is when others are using it as a counterattack?

If they, or you, cares sooo much about b/b crime (a crime of proximity, might I add), what are you doing about it?

Real question.
8.) “Black supremacy” is an extremely stupid and harmful term to try to coin, especially when non-violent protesters in Ferguson were put on a “Black Identity Extremist” list by the government.

Many actually died under suspicious circumstances.
But because you want to make a point that no one was arguing, you are okay with putting your own people at risk.

Who are you helping? Please answer, @terrycrews.
It seems you’ve become so obsessed with convincing people that you’re right (by your own logic), that you’ve managed to miss the point.

Every single time.

Be open to listening and learning.

You don’t have to *agree* to understand. <— Read that again.
9.) You are absolutely not a human rights activist. Saying so is incredibly insulting to those who truly dedicate their entire lives to making sure we can secure better future (and present).

You, sir, are an actor. Who cares(?) about issues.

In a wild way, but I digress.
10.) As a 23-year-old, still learning, mistake-prone human, I am also learning it’s okay to be wrong. It’s hard, but it doesn’t have to embarrass you. It shows that you are open to gaining knowledge.

You continuously show that you don’t give a damn about any critique.
11.) You’re too busy lashing back out at people who are angry with your words. RIGHTFULLY SO. Because your life and theirs are different. And your words hold far more weight for them than they do for YOU.

Feel how you want, but for the love of God:

Shut up. PLEASE.
12.) I’m down to speak privately, although I don’t think you’ll be open to that. But I want to have a conversation to truly explain why your current disposition is harmful and ultimately distracting from a greater cause.

Hit me up, @terrycrews. If you TRULY care.
