Barack Obama killed more people than Fidel Castro.

The corporate state and its press lackeys will not tell you the truth about revolutionaries whose words and actions shook the foundations of capitalism. They will kill them (Malcolm X), slander them (Fidel Castro), or sanitize their reputations for white liberal audiences (MLK).

I will be fair to the liberals in my mentions and say also that Donald Trump has killed more people in his four years than Fidel Castro did in his 50.

The statement, “Barack Obama killed more people than Fidel Castro” is an objective fact. If it triggered you to respond angrily at me, it’s because you’ve never considered that the day to day maintenance of empire is vastly more violent than the overthrow of a client state.

Revolutions are only a product of the living conditions that create their need. To moralize about Castro’s virtues or evils is beside the point. He was not the cause; he was simply the effect. The cause was the fascistic and US-corporate-backed Fulgencio Batista regime.

If you hate the violence of uprising, fight the violence of the status quo. If you are afraid of revolution, demand your leaders alleviate the conditions that make revolution people’s only option. That is the real lesson to learn from the Cuban Revolution. Don’t be afraid of it.

The U.S. government considered both these men to be terrorists.
